About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Counsel to join our Legal Team at Atlas. As a Regional Counsel, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to our operations team in one of our U.S. regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contracting and Legal Support: Provide legal advice and support to our operations team, including structuring, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements.
  • Contract Management: Manage and coordinate the contracting process for Alternative Delivery Projects, including negotiating contracts specific to Design Build Projects.
  • Legal Risk Management: Identify and mitigate legal risks associated with projects and transactions, and provide advice on potential legal issues.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with other members of the Legal Team and operations team to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Investigation and Resolution: Investigate and manage contractual claims and disputes within the region.
Requirements
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in a related field, with 3-5 years of experience in the contracting process for Alternative Delivery Projects.
  • Education: Juris Doctorate from a recognized institution, with state bar membership in good standing.
  • Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, high value for client service and collaboration; excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
