About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Nurse to join our team at a top-rated hospital in Washington, DC. As a PICU RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill or surgical pediatric patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide intensive nursing care and continuous monitoring of breathing, heart rate, and blood pressure
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and communication
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest pediatric care practices
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years recent experience in the PICU or a related field
  • Active license or accreditation in one of the 50 US states
  • Additional requirements and certifications as may be requested by the specific facility/unit
