Job Summary

The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of ionizing radiation in accordance with established professional and departmental standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist and position patients on the CT table with compassion and care.
  • Start IVs for contrast injection and make necessary adjustments.
  • Assess image quality and make adjustments as needed.
  • Release patients with proper post-procedure instructions.
  • Turn over and prepare rooms using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Prefer graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
  • Must be Registered ARRT with RT(R) and CT registration required within 1 year in position.
  • BCLS required.
  • Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning.
  • On-call required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call-back.
