**Overview**
- We are seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at the Marriott Lakeway in Metairie, LA.
**Job Summary**
- This role is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of public areas within the hotel, including deep cleaning assigned spaces, setting up and maintaining lobby functions, and delivering service items to guest rooms as requested by the front desk.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Clean and buff floors daily according to hotel standards.
- Shampoo carpets and furniture as needed according to hotel standards.
- Maintain public restrooms and ensure regular upkeep throughout the shift.
- Provide friendly and efficient luggage assistance to guests during check-in and check-out.
- Practice safe work habits to prevent accidents and ensure a safe environment for guests, colleagues, and oneself.
- Handle lost and found items according to company procedures.
- Turn in all keys and assignment sheets to the Housekeeping or Front Office at the end of each shift.
- Complete a daily assignment checklist and submit it to the supervisor at the end of the day.
**Compensation Package**
- The estimated salary for this position is around $25,000 - $30,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
