Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department as a Clinical Supervisor. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and leading a team of skilled nurses. You will be responsible for supervising staff, managing patient flow, and coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless care transitions.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor a team of registered nurses to ensure excellent patient care and safety
- Assess and prioritize patient needs, developing individualized care plans to meet their unique requirements
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and facilitate smooth transitions between departments
- Monitor and manage patient flow, utilizing clinical expertise to optimize resource utilization and minimize wait times
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and staff satisfaction
- Develop and implement education programs to promote staff development and improve patient care
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support staff growth and development
- Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements and hospital policies
Requirements:
- Certification in Emergency Department Nursing or related specialty preferred
- Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience in Emergency Department settings, with at least 1 year of charge nurse experience
- Current California Nursing license required
- Bilingual skills (Spanish) a plus
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
Compensation and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary range of $47.56 - $77.27 per hour, depending on experience, as well as comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) retirement plan, and paid time off.
Estimated Salary Range: $97,149 - $160,541 per annum
