Job Overview

Anning-Johnson Co is seeking a skilled Drywall Finishing Specialist to join our team in Northern California. This role involves working on various construction projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and meeting production targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply drywall tape compound to seams between panels and to nail/screw indentations, conforming to finishing standards.
  • Work on new wall and ceiling installs, repairs, and metal/plastic/aluminum trim installation.
  • Read and interpret drawings, verify panel joints are tight and aligned, and establish work schedules.
Requirements:

To be successful as a Drywall Finishing Specialist, you should have excellent hand tool and mechanical skills, with the ability to work safely and maintain a safe environment. You must also be physically fit, able to climb scaffolds/ladders, reach/handle/manipulate objects, lift up to 100 pounds, stoop/kneel/crouch, and see well.

Compensation:

The estimated hourly wage for this role ranges from $20.01 (entry-level) to $57.16 (Journeyman), based on union scale and current collective bargaining agreements.
