About the RoleAs a Virtual Registered Nurse, you will provide professional nursing care to patients through two-way audio-visual technology and monitoring data through specialized software. You will work in conjunction with nurses at the bedside, acting as a virtual extension of the onsite team, providing compassionate and innovative care.
Responsibilities- Provide nursing care to patients through virtual means, including audio-visual technology and monitoring data
- Collaborate with bedside nurses to ensure seamless care delivery
- Assist in coaching and mentoring department staff in areas of clinical and professional practice
- Utilize the nursing process to provide nursing care for patients
- Assume responsibility and accountability for individual actions and outcomes of patient care delivered on their shift
- Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of Obstetric inpatient (Labor and Delivery/Fetal Heart Monitoring) experience required
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure required
- Certification in specialty required within 1 year
