Job Overview

Position: Speech-Language Pathologist

Location: Newport, TN

Position Summary:

Soliant is looking for a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to provide essential services to individuals with communication challenges. The successful candidate will engage in comprehensive assessments and deliver tailored therapeutic interventions in collaboration with educational professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform thorough screenings and evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders.
  • Create and execute personalized treatment plans aimed at achieving communication objectives.
  • Provide direct therapy aligned with the Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals.
  • Work in partnership with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to foster students' academic and social growth.
  • Ensure meticulous documentation of assessments, progress reports, and treatment strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Experience in a school-based environment is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
