NIGHT SHIFT FROM 5PM TO 5AM
Support the supervisor in managing the daily production activities and resources, including work assignments, training, and relief for breaks and vacations in production roles. Lead a shift to ensure the production of high-quality products while completing all assigned sanitation tasks. Optimize the efficiency of all machinery while reducing turnaround times. Ensure adherence to all GMP, HACCP, safety, and other regulatory and plant policies and procedures. Meet all production targets or document and report any reasons for not achieving them. Foster a safe environment, maintain cleanliness in food production, and continuously seek to enhance product quality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assist the supervisor in overseeing daily production activities and resource allocation, including work assignments, training, and relief for breaks and vacations.
· Step in for production shifts when the supervisor is unavailable.
· Comprehend each phase of product flow for the assigned area or throughout the facility and assist in training both new and existing employees.
· Execute all operator duties (e.g., maintain records, operate, shut down, and clean all equipment).
· Fill in for absent production personnel due to vacations, illness, or other reasons, with minimal notice, as determined by plant needs within the scheduled shift.
· Prioritize safety in all operations.
· Ensure all produced products meet accepted specifications.
· Confirm that equipment operates within established parameters.
· Monitor compliance with all company policies and local, state, and federal regulations.
· Adhere to and ensure that all GMP, HACCP, safety, and plant documentation and regulatory policies and procedures are followed by others. Report any nonconformance to the supervisor or manager.
· Exercise good judgment in protecting customer, company, vendor, and employee information.
· Maintain a collaborative working relationship with customers, vendors, employees, and peers.
· Handle challenging situations with diplomacy.
· Consistently demonstrate the ability to recognize and address priorities.
· With a mindset focused on continuous improvement, identify opportunities to enhance processes.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 4+ years of experience in manufacturing or production, preferably in the dairy or consumer goods sector, along with demonstrated leadership skills.
- Certification and/or license may be required during employment.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office products and company computer systems.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities as a self-starter capable of setting direction.
- Ability to collaborate effectively and promote teamwork.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively and work effectively with others.
