About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Live Shows Technician to join our team at Carowinds. As a key member of our Live Entertainment Department, you will play a crucial role in creating an unforgettable experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain a variety of equipment, including audio, lighting, and show control systems.
  • Work individually or as part of a team to ensure seamless execution of live shows and events.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a high level of quality and safety in all aspects of the show.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for equipment and software issues.
  • Assist in the setup and teardown of show rigs and control systems.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a live entertainment or theater setting.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Knowledge of audio, lighting, and show control systems.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as needed.
