Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Therapist to join our team at Tatum Psychology Employment Group. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct group, individual, couples, and family therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed Psychologist.
  • Complete initial assessments, biopsychosocial evaluations, treatment plans, therapy notes, and discharge plans within required time frames.
  • Provide direct therapeutic care under the philosophy of our company, under supervision.
  • Follow and improve clinical objectives, standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Participate in agency quality improvement activities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and community standards of care.
  • Ensure coordination of services for families and multi-disciplinary team members for patients in treatment.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary staff meetings with other professional staff members.
  • Provide crisis-intervention as needed.
  • Oversee patients' progress in treatment and ensure level of care is appropriate based on medical necessity.
  • Oversee insurance compliance (utilization review, medical necessity criteria, clinical programming requirements).
  • Consult with intake coordinator regarding new admissions.
Requirements
  • Current state license as a mental health therapist (e.g. Psychologist, LCSW, MFT, or LPCC) or registered with a licensing board (e.g. AMFT, Postdoctoral Fellow, etc.).
  • Obtain a health clearance form from a medical provider.
  • Obtain a negative tuberculosis screening.
  • 2 years of clinical experience, which must have included experience in a behavioral health care setting.
  • Computer Literacy in electronic medical records and email.

  • Valid Driver's License
  • Licensed as a mental health therapist (e.g. Psychologist, LCSW, MFT, or LPCC).
