Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Utilization Specialist to join our team at Saint Francis Health System. As a key member of our Utilization Review Management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor admissions and perform initial patient reviews within 24 hours of admission
  • Perform pre-admission status recommendations in Emergency Department or elective procedure settings as assigned
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of payer guidelines and facilitate precertification and payor authorization processes as required
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, nursing, and other members of the multi-disciplinary care team to effect timely, appropriate management of claims
Requirements
  • Valid State of Oklahoma LPN License
  • Minimum 3 years of related experience in an acute care setting
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and role components
  • Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
