Travel Speech Language Pathologist

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and make a positive impact on their lives.
About the JobThis travel assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a new environment and gain valuable experience. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for administering medically prescribed speech language pathology to restore function and prevent disability following injury or loss of a body part.
Responsibilities- Administer medically prescribed speech language pathology to restore function and prevent disability following injury or loss of a body part.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records pertinent to patient treatment.
- Educate patients, other health professionals, and family regarding speech therapy on an ongoing basis.
- Observe and evaluate patient responses during treatment, document, and report findings accordingly.
- Follow hospital safety rules and procedures.
- One to three years' experience as an SLP preferred.
- Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions.
- PC skills.
- Physical Abilities: Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), pushing, pulling, bending.
