We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Caregiver Assistant to join our team at Azure Shores Rehab - Miami Fl (Excelsior Care). As a key member of our care team, you will provide exceptional support to our residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Identify residents using wristbands or photo cards and administer treatments, serve meals, and perform other necessary tasks.
  • Prepare resident rooms for arrival, including making beds, placing name tags, and ensuring admission kits are available.
  • Escort residents to their rooms and make them comfortable, including putting them to bed, getting water, and inventorying their possessions.
  • Assist residents with packing their belongings when transferring to a new room or upon discharge.
  • Transport residents to new rooms or the receiving area.
  • Take vital signs and assist with daily dental and mouth care, including brushing teeth and dentures, oral hygiene, and special mouth care.
  • Report any resident complaints or grievances.
