Job description:
Engage with a diverse range of internal departments (e.g., Finance, Risk Management, Asset Oversight, etc.) to advance strategic data governance initiatives through effective metadata utilization.
Facilitate various metadata management functions, including but not limited to, lineage exploration, metadata generation, metadata modification oversight, and comprehensive reporting.
Construct logical metadata frameworks (e.g., metadata asset framework, semantic connections) to illustrate business and technical metadata (e.g., reporting structures, physical data components, logical data components, data quality measures)Skills:
Robust comprehension of business operations within a substantial financial organization.
Acquaintance with taxonomies, ontologies, and semantic frameworks.
Conceptual and logical business data modeling expertise across various domains (i.e., customer, account, risk, etc.)
Profound knowledge and experience with technical, operational, and business metadata.
Capability to extract and convey value (business rationale) from metadata governance.
Proven ability to swiftly adapt to new software, particularly metadata management tools.
