Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Occupational Health Clinic in Bloomington, IN. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality care to injured workers and performing medical exams on employees required by their employers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver care to injured workers and perform medical exams on employees required by their employers
- Perform assessments of muscular skeletal injuries
- Perform suturing of minor lacerations, DOT exams, and OSHA mandated tests such as hearing tests and spirometry
- Have direct communication with employers regarding injury care and employer-mandated exams
Qualifications:
- ACNP, FNP, or PA-C required
- DOT certification required (must obtain at least 30 days before start date)
- Experience in Orthopedics preferred
- Provider must have MSK assessment experience
- Must be willing to gain knowledge of occupational health practice
