Job Summary
The Behavioral Health Technician plays a vital role in the patient care team, working under the supervision of the staff nurse and Director of Behavioral Health Services. This position requires the ability to observe and obtain information, understand the range of treatment needed by patients, and report significant findings to appropriate caregivers.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the patient care team as a member of the Behavioral Health team
- Observe and report significant findings to appropriate caregivers
- Assist with the implementation of treatment plans
- Provide support to patients and families
Requirements
- Preferred High School Diploma
- Less than 2 years Previous experience as a Behavioral Health Technician preferred
- CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant
- CPR - AHA Healthcare Provider
