Job Summary:
LifeBridge Health is seeking a skilled Renal Dialysis Nurse to join our team at Grace Medical Center. As a Renal Dialysis Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our dialysis program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing dialysis, including assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, including communicating with physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to improve patient satisfaction and quality of care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to dialysis care, including staying up-to-date on the latest research and evidence-based practices.
Requirements:
- Current Maryland RN license required (Compact Licensure accepted)
- Minimum of two years clinical nursing experience, including a minimum of 12 months' experience providing nursing care in med surge, critical care, or emergency care.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- CNN or CDN preferred
- Supervisory experience preferred; willingness, desire, and ability to supervise required
- Basic computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as functional proficiency with LifeBridge Health specific applications within 60 days of employment required
