We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to join our team in the College of Health Professions at Davenport University. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to our students, bringing your expertise and passion for pediatrics to the clinical learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Teach clinical courses in pediatrics, utilizing your knowledge and experience to create an effective learning environment for students.
  • Contribute to the advancement of academics through understanding the Davenport University Nursing curriculum, preparing instructional course syllabi and materials, and providing input on textbooks and instructional resources.
  • Guide students in their educational processes, referring them for assistance with program schedules, academic progress, and specialized services within the University.
  • Maintain accurate records, including grades, attendance, and departmental records, in compliance with University Instructional Policies and Procedures Manual.
  • Participate in evaluation processes for clinical sites, including agency and site evaluation.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Nursing
  • Unencumbered/Current nursing license
  • BLS certification required
  • Minimum of three (3) years current professional experience related to assigned clinical practice area of teaching
  • Relevant/Current certifications/licenses as required by teaching assignment
  • Ability to teach 8 or 12 hr. clinical
  • Enjoy working with the public and be able to relate well with diverse students, faculty, and staff
