Job Summary:

The Service Porter is a key member of our team, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all guests. This role requires strong communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Greeting and Communication: Greet all guests with a smile, communicating with customers courteously, efficiently, and professionally.
  • Service Lane Support: Assist clients in the service lane, including vehicle pick up and drop off.
  • Vehicle Preparation: Retrieve vehicle history files, assign sequence number, and obtain/verify customer and vehicle data.
  • Guest Follow-up: Follow up with guests throughout the on-site visit, providing status updates and ensuring utmost satisfaction.
  • Technology and Software: Embrace technology and software to enhance the customer experience.
  • Team Collaboration: Support the Sales and Service teams, connecting with team members to build positive partnerships.
  • Customer Relations: Build and maintain a strong rapport with all clients, resolving customer concerns and complaints.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain vehicle service history and department correspondence files.
  • Facility Maintenance: Ensure the lounge is clean and stocked with supplies and refreshments.
Qualifications:
  • Education & Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalence required.
  • Required Skills & Abilities: Valid Driver's License and clean driving record, Professional Appearance, Weekend/Weeknights Availability, Reliable, Superior customer service, Strong communication skills and work ethic, Ability to pass pre-employment screen (background & hair follicle drug test).
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged Sitting and Computer Work: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Lifting and Mobility: Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times, Bend, stretch, kneel, and squat.
  • Walking: Prolonged periods of walking on a level surface throughout the dealership.
