Job Summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our laboratory. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of test results, as well as supervising a team of laboratory technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the laboratory, including supervising laboratory technicians and ensuring the quality and accuracy of test results.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless laboratory operations.
  • Provide training and guidance to laboratory technicians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to laboratory technicians to ensure they are meeting performance expectations.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a laboratory setting, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • ASCP certification preferred.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and make sound decisions.
