This role involves providing high-quality care to patients in a telemetry setting, focusing on those recovering from significant surgical procedures or experiencing high acuity medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Specialty: Telemetry PCU - Progressive Care Unit
  • Discipline: Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Shift: 12-hour night shifts
  • Work Schedule: 48 hours per week
Requirements
  • Current Missouri RN License
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Stepdown or ICU settings
  • Proficient in post-operative care, Bipap management, and cardiac medication administration
  • Strong critical thinking and time management skills
  • Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
Additional Information

The unit typically accommodates a patient ratio of 1:3 or 1:4, depending on the circumstances. Nurses may be required to float to other departments as needed.
