Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at Ascension St. Vincent in Indiana. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with patient examinations and treatments under the direction of a provider.
  • Perform select clinical duties, including interviewing patients, measuring vital signs, and recording information on patients' charts.
  • Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients and maintain a clean and orderly environment.
  • Assist with basic clerical duties, including answering the phone and maintaining records.
  • Perform basic materials management functions, including ordering and stocking of supplies.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification obtained within 1 month of hire date required.
  • Medical Assistant certification obtained within 3 months of hire date required.
  • High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
