As a Snowcat Operator at Vail Resorts, you will be responsible for grooming and preparing the snow surface for skiing guests. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate snow grooming equipment to maintain optimal snow conditions
  • Prepare and groom ski area trails and surfaces to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for guests
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives
  • Perform routine maintenance and upkeep on equipment to minimize downtime
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with no restrictions
  • Experience working with and operating heavy machinery
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English
  • Climb in and out of the machine safely
