Key Responsibilities
  • Install and Configure Electrical Systems: Assist electricians in the installation of new electrical systems, including communications and computer equipment, and ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards.
  • Operate Hand and Power Tools: Utilize a variety of hand and power tools to perform tasks efficiently and safely.
  • Wire and Cable Installation: Measure, cut, bend, and thread wire and electrical cable through metal tubing, ensuring accurate and precise installation.
  • Splicing and Wiring: Assist in splicing wires at juncture points and feed/pull wiring into control centers, distribution boxes, transformers, and other permanent equipment.
  • Cleanup and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that all tools and materials are properly stored and secured.
  • Material Handling: Gather and transport materials and tools to electricians on the construction project, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures outlined in the Bergelectric Corp Employee Handbook, prioritizing safety and well-being in the workplace.

Requirements
  • Electrical Knowledge: Possess a basic understanding of the laws of electricity and electrical systems.
  • Technical Understanding: Ability to comprehend technical instructions and follow guidelines.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate the ability to see details and compare details in objects, ensuring accuracy and precision in work.
  • Tool and Equipment Knowledge: Familiarity with tools and equipment, including hand and power tools.
  • Mechanical Skills: Possess basic mechanical skills, enabling effective and efficient work.
