This enthusiastic and driven individual will be tasked with crafting engaging, insight-led, customer-centric, and strategically sound design concepts and solutions for Kohler's operations across North America.


You will report to the Creative Director focused on Brand, collaborating with fellow designers, copywriters, studio artists, external partners, and business associates to drive cross-channel initiatives.

Your refined aesthetic and innovative thinking will contribute to the ongoing development of Kohler's premium brands across all forms of communication, both online and offline.

The responsibilities include...

  • Conceptualization and design development for a diverse array of projects while adhering to brand guidelines
  • Effectively translate concepts across various platforms in a clear and persuasive manner
  • Constructively respond to creative feedback and advance work through multiple iterations
  • Facilitate projects into the production phase, including retouching markup or file preparation
  • Demonstrate flexible and adaptable thinking
  • Utilize systems thinking for solutions that navigate a complex landscape
  • Collaborate with a broad range of partners
  • Present work efficiently and effectively for both internal and client reviews
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Adhere to deadlines
  • Stay informed about industry trends, key players, studios, etc.
  • Exhibit familiarity with the kitchen and bath industry, premium home goods, and/or interior and architectural design
  • Contribute positively to the overall atmosphere of the internal creative team

Skills/Requirements

The qualifications include...

  • Strong typography skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven eye for elevated aesthetics
  • A calm and composed demeanor
  • Professionalism in being punctual, attentive, collaborative, and proactive
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Experience with After Effects, Figma, SketchUp, or other creative software is advantageous
  • Familiarity with MS productivity tools is a plus
  • Experience in developing creative for social media is beneficial
  • An online portfolio showcasing innovative problem-solving skills with attention to detail and strong typography
  • Bachelor's degree in design or a related field; BFA preferred
-5-7 years of experience in a design agency, brand consultancy, or design-focused in-house team

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

The salary range for this position is $66,300 - $83,500.

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by various factors including the candidate's experience, education, and work location.
