Job SummaryWe are seeking a Per Diem Registered Nurse to join our team at the Center for Pain Relief. As a Per Diem Registered Nurse, you will work closely with a team of Anesthesiologists, Medical Doctors, and Advanced Practice Providers to provide care to patients undergoing interventional pain procedures.
Responsibilities- Works in close partnership with a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients undergoing interventional pain procedures.
- Provides care to patients pre-, intra-, and post-procedure, including intra-procedure moderate sedation.
- Monitors patients for emergencies and complications in the procedural suite.
- Performs wound care and complex dressing changes.
- Uses and maintains procedural equipment.
- Educates patients and their families on home care and follow-up care.
- Assists with patient admissions, phone triage, and record keeping.
- 2 years of recent ICU, procedural, or complex medical-surgical nursing experience.
- BLS Certification.
- ACLS Certification (required within 6 months of hire).
- Conscious Sedation Certification (required within 6 months of hire).
- Strong IV skills.
- Active licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State.
