Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Hospitalist Physician to join our team at Core Clinical Partners. As a Hospitalist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to hospitalized patients, including managing acute medical conditions, coordinating care with other healthcare providers, and communicating with patients and their families about treatment plans and expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the care of hospitalized patients, including assessing and treating acute medical conditions
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including nurses, pharmacists, and specialists, to coordinate patient care
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families about treatment plans, prognosis, and expectations
  • Monitor patients' progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results to inform patient care
  • Manage patient transitions of care, including discharge planning and communication with primary care providers
  • Participate in hospital quality improvement initiatives and other hospital committees as needed
Requirements
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Active Oklahoma medical license or willingness to obtain one
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
