We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN to join our team in the Special Procedures unit at LewisGale Medical Center. This is an exciting opportunity to provide direct care to patients undergoing treatments and procedures in Cath Lab.

Your Role

As a Special Procedures Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for collecting specimens for testing, assisting physicians during procedures, maintaining and stocking Special Procedure areas, and serving as a resource for Surgical Scheduling relative to bookings. You will also provide relevant and complete documentation on patient-related activities and educate patients and families about procedures, medications, and follow-up home care.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a Registered Nurse license, Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 1 year of employment start date. An Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.

Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $115,000 per year
