Orthopedic Surgeon Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Orthopedic Surgeon to join our medical practice in the Philadelphia area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and management, recommending tests and conducting diagnostic testing to determine the extent of injury and appropriate treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality patient care and management
  • Recommend tests and conduct diagnostic testing to determine the extent of injury and appropriate treatment
  • Oversee patient diagnosis and treatment of occupational or motor vehicle injuries
  • Prepare patients for return to work after illness or injury
  • Perform surgery when medically necessary
  • Collaborate with colleagues and staff for comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

  • MD/DO from an accredited educational institution
  • Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of PA
  • Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery (general orthopedic surgeon)
  • Favorable malpractice history
  • Basic Life Support/Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
  • DEA license
