Qualifications:- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
- Completion of an Accredited Ultrasound Technology program
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- Ability to perform abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, and vascular ultrasound examinations
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
- Ability to operate ultrasound equipment and perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting
- Preparing patients for ultrasound procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly for optimal imaging.
- Operating ultrasound equipment to capture images of various parts of the body, such as the abdomen, pelvis, heart, blood vessels, and fetal development during pregnancy.
- Analyzing the images to identify any abnormalities or potential health concerns.
- Maintaining accurate records of patient procedures and results.
- Ensuring that the equipment is properly maintained and calibrated to ensure accurate results.
