We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier / Sales Associate to join our team at Petco. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experience services, assisting guests in selecting merchandise, and performing various sales and customer service tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide optimal guest experience services, including greeting guests, answering questions, and resolving issues.
- Assist guests in selecting merchandise, including providing product information and recommendations.
- Perform cashiering duties, including processing transactions and handling customer payments.
- Perform related duties in support of the store attaining its assigned sales goal, including stocking merchandise, facing shelves, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
- Ensure merchandise is properly stocked and priced, and adhere to established operational guidelines and store policies and procedures.
- Evaluate guest inquiries and refer to Guest Experience Leader and/or Leader on Duty as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and pull 2000 pounds utilizing material handling equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
