The Town of Brookline Public Works Department is seeking a skilled Fleet Technician to maintain all Public Works vehicles and equipment. The successful candidate will perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections, including checking brakes, suspensions, and steering components. They will also change oil and check fluid and grease equipment, respond to equipment breakdowns, and conduct field repairs. Additionally, the Fleet Technician will operate heavy equipment and trucks, use hand, pneumatic, and power tools, and lift transmissions, truck tires, and other truck parts.

**Qualifications:**

* High School Diploma; plus technical training; at least 2 years of heavy truck and equipment maintenance and repair experience required.
* MA CDL Class B, MA Hoisting License.
