Hospitalist Physician Opportunity in Eastern North Carolina

We are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Internal Medicine or Med-Ped Hospitalist to join our team of exceptional providers at a hospital in eastern North Carolina.
Responsibilities- Clinical responsibilities will include Level II nursery and well newborn nursery care, daily rounding, admissions, discharges, vent management, intubation, central line placement, and thoracentesis.
- 7 on 7 off Schedule - 7a-7p with 2/7p-7a shifts every other week.
- ICU is covered by pulmonary critical care physicians from 8-5pm, and covered by hospitalist team nights and weekends.
- Established team of 6 hospitalists.
- Anticipated Volume is 15-20 patients.
- Strong air and ground support to immediately transfer patients to a level 1 trauma center located in Greenville, NC.
- System-wide integrated EMREPIC.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
