Job Description

**Job Title:** Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Loan Portfolio Manager to join our team at Western & Southern Financial Group. As a key member of our Real Estate Debt Investments organization, you will be responsible for proactively evaluating and mitigating associated business risks and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage an assigned commercial loan portfolio, including interviewing clients and requesting necessary information to recommend appropriate action on credit decisions and complete annual reviews for major credit relationships.
  • Support the mortgage loan investment team by reviewing financial and market analysis for existing investments.
  • Monitor transitional loans, including construction loans and value-add debt investments, and make recommendations for future underwriting and collection strategies.
  • Develop a comprehensive working knowledge of commercial mortgage loan portfolio performance and take ownership of portfolio management.
  • Collaborate with the loan production team, servicing, closing, accounting, and construction management to escalate issues to manager when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Real Estate, Economics, Statistics, Finance, or Business.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Proven ability to function in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of mathematics and principles behind monetary transactions.
  • Proficient in Mortgage Loan Servicing System (Precision LM).

Work Environment:

This role requires minimal supervision and the ability to work independently with a high level of autonomy. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be able to establish a work environment that is committed to collaboration and excellence.
