Join Our Team as a Licensed Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Therapist to join our team at Sierra Health and Wellness Centers. As a Licensed Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-based treatment to individuals struggling with mental health issues and substance abuse.

About the Role

This part-time/full-time position is available to work with adolescents in our outpatient facility (PHP) in the Roseville area. You will work with clients who experience overwhelming symptoms of mental health, such as anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, or engaging in unsafe behaviors. Our team provides a safe and welcoming environment to promote healthy life skills, develop resilience, and improve daily functioning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform journey-level professional casework and clinical services with mentally and emotionally disturbed clients
  • Assess and monitor clients' behaviors while in treatment for chemical and alcohol abuse and dependency
  • Work as a team member with other professionals
  • Participate in evaluative and diagnostic staff conferences
  • Conduct individual, family, and group therapy; interviews clients and relatives
  • Participate in collaborative treatment with representatives of other agencies
  • Prepare verbal, written, and statistical reports
  • Attend conferences, workshops, and training to maintain current awareness of mental health methodologies and issues
  • Operate a personal computer and other office equipment
  • Communicate effectively with others in person and over the telephone
  • Analyze data, interpret directions, procedures, and regulations, and develop appropriate responses
  • Perform job duties under stressful conditions
  • May be assigned some lead and special work coordination responsibilities
Requirements
  • Must obtain and maintain a license as a mental health professional regulated by a state board (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)
  • Must possess a master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or counseling
  • Have at minimum two-year experience in Drug and Alcohol counseling
  • Very familiar with HIPAA/client confidentiality and personal rights
  • Must possess a current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two to five years of experience in drug and alcohol counseling
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

Salary: $82,597 - $122,595 (This salary range is for 40 hours per week)
