Job Description

The Agricultural Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on agricultural equipment both in the field and in the shop. This includes working on all makes and models of agriculture equipment, diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems, and air conditioning systems issues, and making necessary repairs.

You will work independently, but also as part of a team, to ensure that equipment repairs are done accurately and timely, supporting our customers and maximizing their uptime.

This is an advanced technician role, where you will be counted on to perform complex repairs and troubleshoot difficult issues. You will have the support and resources needed to perform top-notch work, including John Deere specific training provided by the company.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3 or more years of working knowledge of agricultural equipment and/or similar heavy equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems, and air conditioning systems.
  • A team-oriented personality, with the focus and drive to work without direct supervision.
  • The discipline and skill to complete technical diagnostic and repair procedures.
  • John Deere specific training will be provided.
  • Must provide own tools.
  • Driver's license with a good driving record.

Estimated Salary:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
