Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in performing specific duties and activities of daily living in caring for age-specific groups
  • Adhere to AdventHealth's Corporate Compliance Plan and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations
  • Provide outstanding customer service and maintain respectful relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Assist in the delivery of patient care as a team member, performing tasks under the direction of a registered nurse
  • Participate in obtaining a nursing history, reporting abnormalities to the RN, and identifying needs for developing/modifying the plan of care
Requirements
  • BLS certification
  • Nursing Assistant training or successful completion of either practical nurse fundamentals or comparable experience
  • Must be cross-trained in one of the following areas: Health Unit Coordinator (HUC), Monitor Tech, or Phlebotomy
  • Florida Nursing Assistant Certification, Certified Patient Care Technician, or Registered Medical Assistant with comparable hospital experience
