Cargo Readiness Support Supervisor

Role Overview
The Cargo Readiness Support Supervisor plays a vital role in assisting the management of MEBA functions and supporting the Cargo Readiness Manager's responsibilities in Nashville.
This position involves overseeing daily operations necessary for the efficient movement of export containers through the CMA CGM networks across the Americas.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor the activities of representatives to ensure timely resolution of container incidents, special customer concerns, and idle import/export shipments.
- Address workforce grievances to facilitate effective problem-solving.
- Evaluate team performance through annual reviews and implement corrective measures as needed.
- Ensure timely completion of projects.
- Train and manage MEBA staff effectively.
- Actively seek solutions for cargo readiness and resolve issues related to export loads at maritime terminals.
- Maintain precise information in internal systems (e.g., LARA).
- Identify opportunities for process cost reduction and service enhancement.
- Ensure timely vessel cleanups.
- Monitor dwelling cargo.
- Undertake miscellaneous duties or projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business management or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in network and/or terminal operations, with a preference for experience managing a unionized workforce.
- Proficient in PC skills.
- Strong focus on deadlines.
- Fluent in English.
