Position Overview:

As an Agile Team Facilitator, you are dedicated to achieving results and empowering a development team engaged in the modernization of essential projects. You understand the significance of Agile methodologies and are adept at addressing challenges proactively to ensure productivity.

In this role, you will collaborate with a development team to promote Agile methodologies and guide new team members in Agile practices. You will facilitate sprint planning sessions, conduct sprint reviews, and lead sprint retrospectives. Additionally, you will assist management in liaising with clients and stakeholders to align expectations. Your responsibilities will include gathering and documenting comprehensive user stories, collaborating with the team and clients to define related tasks and acceptance criteria, and analyzing business workflows to enhance processes.

You will maintain a prioritized product backlog, support quality assurance and requirement validation, and engage with various stakeholders to discuss their needs, offering insights during interviews and requirements collection. You will also be responsible for creating documentation for new initiatives, including effort assessments, project timelines, and requirements specifications.

On our team, you will leverage your expertise to coach the development team in focusing on sprint objectives, ensuring the successful advancement of projects. You will apply fundamental Agile principles to resolve common challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience serving as a Scrum Master for a development team.
  • At least 3 years of experience in gathering and documenting technical and business requirements.
  • Proficiency in JIRA.
  • Experience in educating technical teams on fundamental Agile framework concepts.
  • Possession of a Top Secret security clearance.
  • High school diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with project management frameworks.
  • Understanding of agency or intelligence community IT infrastructures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to provide technical support to IT development teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective interaction with clients, engineers, and management.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
  • Relevant certifications such as Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC.

Security Clearance:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Top Secret clearance is mandatory.
