Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Heavy Equipment Safely: Perform various project work, including loading, unloading, and timely delivery of material to assigned/approved destinations.
  • Conduct Daily Inspections: Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and maintain operation records.
  • Communicate Effectively: Serve as a company ambassador in every interaction with clients and the public, utilizing strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Perform Shop Clean Up and Maintenance: Clean up, maintain, and set up equipment/tools as needed.
Requirements:
  • Operate Heavy/Agricultural Equipment Safely: Ability to operate heavy/agricultural equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Verbal and Written Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and the public.
  • Ability to Follow Directions: Ability to follow directions and perform tasks as assigned.
  • Basic Math Skills: Ability to perform basic math and maintain operation records.
  • Mechanical and Electrical Aptitude: Mechanical and electrical aptitude, with the ability to perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Clean MVR: Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Heavy Equipment Operator Experience: Minimum 2 years of heavy equipment operator work experience.
  • Class A CDL: Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) a plus, but not required.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
  • Sitting, Climbing, Balancing, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Feeling, Lifting to 50 lbs., Talking, Hearing, and Seeing: Ability to perform physical tasks, including sitting, climbing, balancing, reaching, standing, walking, feeling, lifting to 50 lbs., talking, hearing, and seeing.
  • Confined Spaces: Ability to work in confined spaces.
  • Outside Environmental Conditions: Ability to work in outside environmental conditions, including proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat, or exposure to bio-solids.
