About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Sonographer to join our team at Dignity Health. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic medical sonographic procedures with a high level of technical expertise.

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic medical sonographic procedures at a technical level, requiring independent judgment and initiative.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of ultrasound procedures, including diagnostic and interventional techniques.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices.
Requirements
  • Less than one year of experience in Abdomen, OB/Gyn, Color Doppler, and Neurosonography.
  • BLS Certification.
  • ARDMS certification and CPR certification required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, staff, and physicians.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on patient care and safety.
