The role involves welcoming guests, guiding them to their seats, assisting with menu choices, taking and delivering orders (including tray service), and clearing tables. Additionally, all food service attendants are responsible for processing cash and credit card transactions.

To enhance our guests' dining experience, a successful food service attendant should be approachable, courteous, accommodating, and dependable. A suitable applicant should also possess problem-solving abilities and be a collaborative team member.
Responsibilities of a Food Service Attendant:
  • Welcoming, seating, and guiding guests.
  • Offering menu insights and additional details.
  • Encouraging additional purchases when suitable.
  • Verifying IDs to ensure compliance with age restrictions for alcohol.
  • Recording orders through software, written slips, or memory.
  • Conveying order specifics to kitchen personnel.
  • Serving food and beverages promptly.
  • Presenting checks and processing payments.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of tables and dining ware.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Performing end-of-day cleaning and side tasks.
Food Service Attendant Job Requirements:
  • Prior experience in food service is essential.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and communication skills are required.
  • Ability to manage financial transactions responsibly.
  • Capacity to multitask and respond swiftly.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts is necessary.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Availability on Sundays is mandatory.
  • Full availability on Saturdays is necessary.
  • Weekend availability is required.
  • Experience with Posi systems is advantageous.
  • Year-round availability is essential.
  • This position requires the ability to lift over 40 lbs and navigate multiple flights of stairs.
