Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personalized care and support to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Administer medications in accordance with prescribed guidelines.
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary.
  • Support individuals with autism or other developmental conditions in their daily activities.
  • Prepare meals and assist with feeding if required.
  • Maintain a clean and secure environment for clients.
  • Offer companionship and participate in activities to encourage social interaction.
  • Record client progress and communicate any changes or issues to the relevant supervisor.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or similar settings is preferred.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and upholding client confidentiality.
  • Experience working with individuals with autism or other special requirements is advantageous.
  • Understanding of childcare practices and methods is beneficial.
