Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at Forrest General Hospital. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting and handling blood specimens, consulting with the Laboratory Team Leader, and maintaining supplies in the phlebotomy section room.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and process blood specimens for testing
  • Consult with the Laboratory Team Leader to ensure accurate and efficient specimen collection
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the phlebotomy section room
  • Monitor supply levels and order supplies as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • Phlebotomy experience preferred
  • Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment
