Refrigeration and Boiler Specialist

We are looking for a highly motivated Refrigeration and Boiler Specialist to join our team at Smithfield Foods. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for performing routine equipment repairs, conducting audits and inspections, and ensuring the safe operation of our industrial facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine equipment maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
- Safety Leadership: Demonstrate strong safety leadership skills and follow safe work practices to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaboration: Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to plan and conduct equipment repairs and upgrades.
- Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent and 1+ years of related experience in an industrial mechanical maintenance environment; or 4 years' direct experience in an industrial mechanical maintenance environment.
- Skills and Qualifications: RETA certification, knowledge of ammonia refrigeration, engine & boiler systems, electricity & motor controls, and predictive/predictive maintenance.
