Job Summary:

Liberty Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for supervising and directing the nursing staff during shifts, ensuring the best possible patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct nursing staff during shifts to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Assist the Director of Nursing in directing, coordinating, and supervising the Nursing Services Department.
  • Supervise nursing services for the facility during shifts in accordance with the Nursing Practice Act, facility policies, and local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Supervise and assist nurses with patients during acute episodes.
  • Address employee concerns in a timely manner and document actions.
  • Assume on-call responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school graduate.
  • Registered Nurse with a valid license from the South Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • Provide quality nursing care to patients, follow doctor orders, and demonstrate a genuine interest in geriatric nursing.
  • CPR certification required.
  • Attend in-service training and staff meetings as required.
  • Ability to supervise nursing staff, ensuring work assignments are completed appropriately and timely.
  • Read, know, and follow personnel, department, and facility policies and procedures, and adhere to local, state, and federal requirements.
  • Long-term care experience preferred.
