Position Overview:
The Oncology Nurse Specialist will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive patient care, conducting assessments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers. This position necessitates a valid Hawai'i RN license, APRN certification in Oncology, and a minimum of two years of experience in the oncology nursing field.
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care and perform clinical procedures
- Provide health education and facilitate referrals
- Engage in support initiatives for patients and their families
Required Qualifications:
- Active Hawai'i RN and APRN licenses
- APRN certification in Oncology
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- At least 2 years of nursing experience in the field of Oncology
- Preferred: Advanced practical experience and a background in education
