Job Title: Construction Quality Control Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Quality Control Manager to join our team at RQ Construction, LLC. As a key member of our Field Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met on our construction projects.

Job Summary:

The Construction Quality Control Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing a project-specific quality control program. This will involve executing the program's performance according to contract requirements, completing administrative documentation on time, and cultivating customer satisfaction with the client.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality control plans for construction projects
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Collaborate with project managers and superintendents to identify and address quality control issues
  • Prepare and submit quality control reports to clients and project stakeholders
  • Provide training and guidance to project teams on quality control procedures
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 10 years of combined experience in commercial construction as a Superintendent, QC Manager, Project Manager, or Project Engineer
  • 2 years of experience as a QC Manager
  • A current USACE CQM for Contractors Certificate
  • RMS/QCS training (training is available)
  • Specialty inspection training and licenses/certs highly desired
  • LEED AP, AP+, or Green Associate (GA) Certificate preferred
  • Level 1 EM, CRP, First Aid, OSHA 30-hour certifications required
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Internet, etc.) required
  • Specific software literacy (Viewpoint/Vista, RMS/QCS) preferred
