SUMMARY OF JOB:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering routine and emergency Respiratory Therapy and Pulmonary Diagnostic services to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
  • Setting up, operating, and monitoring various types of Respiratory Therapy apparatus.
  • Supporting the physician during bedside Pulmonary interventions.
  • Taking charge of department personnel and operations in the absence of the Lead Therapist or Supervisor.

RECRUITMENT CRITERIA:

  • Valid PA State Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
  • N.B.R.C. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification.
  • Graduate of an AMA accredited Respiratory Therapy Program, either two or four years.
  • At least one year of experience in all forms of adult, pediatric, and neonatal respiratory therapy procedures.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Willingness to work various shifts and/or on-call hours as necessary.
